Per U.S. District Court Notice from the Clerk, face coverings are required to be worn by all individuals within Court facilities.

The United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California continues to closely monitor the national, state, and local responses to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), following guidance provided by the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and state and local authorities.

  • Judiciary Ends COVID Emergency; Study of Broadcast Policy Continues
  • Effective Monday, April 19, 2021, court buildings and courtrooms in all divisions may open to in-person visits.  The Intake areas of the Los Angeles, Riverside, Santa Ana, San Fernando Valley, and Northern Divisions remain open to the public to accept in-person filings.

  • Cash will not be accepted for payment of any filing fees. All fees must be paid with a U.S. postal money order or cashier’s check from an acceptable financial institution.
