Courtroom Technology

Welcome to the Central District of California U.S. Bankruptcy Court, courtroom technology page. The Bankruptcy Court strives to provide the latest advancements in technology specifically tailored for a capable and intuitive courtroom experience.

It is the Court's mission to bridge the gap between legal and technological worlds by incorporating the most comprehensive audio/visual systems into courtrooms and educating legal practitioners on effectively integrating these tools.

Attorneys must provide their own technical assistance in preparing presentations. Compatibility issues that may arise from equipment (e.g., laptops, personal devices) not supplied by the Court are the sole responsibility of counsel.

If you would like to preview a presentation or test any equipment prior to a scheduled hearing, please call 213-894-TECH (8324). All testing must be completed at least 72 hours before a hearing is scheduled to begin.

In the event the Court's equipment malfunctions, do not attempt to troubleshoot the problem. Inform the court recorder who will contact the Court Technology Group for technical assistance.
