The Central District of California accepts electronic orders through the Lodged Order Upload (LOU) program.  Although LOU is a separate program from CM/ECF, it has been incorporated into the CM/ECF menu, making it easy for users to find and select.

Orders lodged electronically via LOU immediately appear for review and processing in the Court's Calendaring Information and Order (“CIAO”) program.  Once the Judge has reviewed and approved the order, it is entered on the case docket and may be noticed via the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC).  

Proposed orders must be submitted in MS-WORD format.  Exhibits may be uploaded with the proposed order in PDF format.
