2002-1(a): Notice: Service on CREDITORS: Creditor Designates Address for Authorized Agent
LBR 2002-1(a) provides the procedure to follow when a CREDITOR wishes to designate an address for an authorized agent, pursuant to authority provided in 11 U.S.C. 342(g)(1) and FRBP 2002(g).
- The CREDITOR must file a request and serve the request on the debtor or trustee -- See link below for an example form
- The title of the caption must be a REQUEST because there will be subsequent action to take --- the court will add the address for sending notices, and the debtor and other parties must use the designated address when serving motions, notices or orders.
- However, a court order is not needed. A hearing is not required. A Notice of Motion is not required.
