Trial Exhibit Tags
 
LBR 9070-1(a)(1) Trial Exhibits/Identification specifies that all exhibits to be offered into evidence at trial of an adversary proceeding or contested matter must be numbered and marked for identification with tags that could previously only be obtained by visiting the Clerk’s Office.
  1. Select plaintiff (F 9070-1.1.EXHIBIT.TAG.PLAINTIFF) or defendant (F 9070-1.2.EXHIBIT.TAG.DEFENDANT) exhibit tag form.
  2. Enter the case number, including the judge’s initials, and short case title on any of the exhibit tags on the form. This information automatically populates to all other exhibit tags on the form.
  3. Enter the exhibit number on each tag.
  4. Print plaintiff exhibit tags on yellow paper; defendant exhibit tags on blue paper.  Cut the individual tags and secure exhibit tags to the corresponding exhibits. Alternatively, exhibit tags may be printed on yellow or blue self-adhesive paper.
