Honorable Theodor C. Albert

Passing of Chief Judge Theodor C. Albert

We are deeply saddened to share that Chief Judge Theodor Albert passed away the morning of May 5, 2025. Chief Judge Albert’s passing is a tremendous loss for our court. His many years practicing law, serving as a trustee, and sitting as a bankruptcy judge contributed greatly to our community, and, rather than retire, he chose to step up and serve the court as Chief Judge to lead us out of the pandemic years. His deep authoritative voice was matched by his kindness and inclusiveness. We will miss him greatly.

A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
