Effective February 14, 2022, a portion of newly filed Santa Ana Division chapter 13 bankruptcy cases will be assigned to Judge Mark D. Houle of the Riverside Division. Hearings on Santa Ana chapter 13 cases assigned to Judge Houle will be held telephonically via AT&T conference line with parties also allowed to appear in person at Courtroom 6C at the Santa Ana Division. 

Documents filed in Santa Ana Division cases assigned to Judge Houle must be filed either electronically via CM/ECF or, for filers who lack access to CM/ECF, at the Intake section of the Santa Ana Division. All judge’s copies must be served in accordance with Section 2-02 of The Central Guide and The Central Guide Supplement to LBR 5005-2(d).
