The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, along with courts nationwide, have experienced an interruption in the transmission of official court notices due to a nationwide service disruption affecting the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC). The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO) announced that BNC operations resumed on October 26, 2026, beginning with processing backlogged files in chronological sequence. This week, there will be a prioritized focus on the backlog from October 7-25, 2026. Electronic notices will be transmitted as quickly as possible following validation that the BNC is fully operational. General Order 26-03, issued on October 23, 2026, remains in effect.

Updates will be posted on the Court's website as additional information becomes available. Please visit the Court’s website at https://www.cacb.uscourts.gov. You may also utilize the website’s Chat Live function or contact the Court’s Call Center at (855) 460-9641, during normal business hours.
