Creating the creditor list in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect:
- Open the file.
- Click File in the toolbar.
- Click Save As.
- Select the directory and location/folder to save the file in.
If Using Microsoft Word:
- Click the drop down box arrow in the Save As Type box.
- Select the document format of Text Files (*.txt) or Text Only (*.txt) or Plain Text (*.txt).
- Enter the name of the file in the File Name box. (The system provides the same file name with a .txt extension.)
- The File Conversion dialog box appears. Accept Windows (default) and click OK.
If Using WordPerfect:
- Click the drop down menu arrow in the File Type box.
- Select the file type ASCII DOS Text.
- Click Save.
- Click OK button.
