Minimum hardware & software requirements needed to electronically file, view and retrieve case documents:
- A personal computer running a standard operating platform such as Windows 7 and 10 or Apple computer with a minimum of 1GB (gigabytes) system memory. However, 4GB is recommended for transmittal of large documents.
- Internet connection. Using cable or DSL will provide a much faster data transmission rate.

- Software to convert documents from a word processor format to portable document format (pdf). Adobe Acrobat or similar software is recommended. Adobe Acrobat versions 10 and 11 meet the CM/ECF filing requirements.
- A pdf-compatible word processing system such as Windows based version of Microsoft Word is necessary to prepare your text documents and orders.
-
A scanner to convert documents that are not in a word processing format or petition preparation systems. The scanner setting should be at 300 dpi (dots per inch), black and white scale and text - not photo or color.
