1073-1(a): Related Cases: Related Adversary Proceedings: Judge Assignment
LBR 1073-1(a) and General Order 11-01 provide procedures for assigning bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings to a particular bankruptcy judge.
In some situations it may be appropriate for a bankruptcy case or adversary proceeding to be reassigned to a different judge.
- A motion is required. The court does not provide a form.
The motion can be ruled in using two procedures:
- Schedule a hearing under LBR 9013-1(d) and file a Notice of Hearing. See link below; OR
