2-17:  Orders Judgments: After Entry: DELIVERED BY COURT

After an order or judgment is entered on the docket of a bankruptcy case or adversary proceeding, the court will deliver the order or judgment as follows. 

  • By NEF -- The court will deliver an NEF to any party who is a CM/ECF user and who has filed a document electronically on the docket that now contains the order or judgment.
  • By email --- The court will deliver the order by email to a debtor who filed a Request to Activate DeBN, if the order is entered on the docket in the bankruptcy case.
  • By regular mail -- The court will deliver the order by regular mail if the order is entered in the bankruptcy case (to the debtor only) and if the order is entered in an adversary proceeding (to any party who has a street address listed on the docket and has not already received the order by NEF.
