Orders: Delegation of Authority to Clerk to Sign Designated Orders

9021-1(c)(7):  Delegation of Authority to Clerk to Sign Designated Orders

Some orders are administrative in nature because they do not require a judge to make a ruling.  The Central District of California is the largest in the nation; efficiency is important to provide timely customer service when entering administrative orders.  One way to be efficient is for the signature of the Clerk of Court to be placed on these orders, regardless of which judge presides in the case.

See link below for a list of orders that are signed by the Clerk of Court.
