3-12:  VARIANCE: Judicial Practice Guides -- One for Each Judge

For nearly 20 years, our court published a Judicial Practices Survey, which was an exhaustive document that identified more than 20 categories of common court procedures and variations within each procedure.  Then, the Judicial Practices Survey identified whether each judge followed each variation within the procedure.

As of July 8, 2025, the Judicial Practices Survey has been replaced with a separate "Judicial Practice Guide" that each judge can post.  Many topics and queries that were located in the former Judicial Practices Survey are now posted on each judge's webpage or the court's main website.  The remainder of topics are now addressed by each judge as they post a Judicial Practice Guide.

The new guides can be found on a judge's webpage at the INSTRUCTIONS / PROCEDURES tab.  Those guides are also posted at the links below.
