Emergency Closure of the Los Angeles and Santa Ana Divisions on Friday, January 30, 2026

The Los Angeles and Santa Ana Divisions will close at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026 due to anticipated protest activity in the downtown Los Angeles and Santa Ana areas.

Emergency filings that cannot be filed electronically through CM/ECF on Friday, January 30, 2026 may be filed at one of the Court’s other open divisions during regular office hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.:

  • Northern Division: 1415 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
  • Riverside Division: 3420 Twelfth Street, Riverside, CA 92501
  • San Fernando Valley Division: 21041 Burbank Blvd., Woodland Hills, CA 91367

For questions regarding emergency filings for the Los Angeles Division, please call (213) 894-6751. For questions regarding emergency filings for the Santa Ana Division, please call (213) 200-3408. Additional assistance is also available via the Court’s general information line at (855) 460-9641 or the Court’s online chat feature, which can be accessed through the Court’s website.
    
The Court’s automated systems (including the Court’s website, CM/ECF, LOU, PACER, ePOC, etc.) will remain operational and will not be affected by the closure.
