Imposition of Sanctions Against Suspended/Disbarred Attorneys For Violating Filing Prohibitions

Effective April 4, 2011, the Court will impose monetary sanctions on attorneys that continue to file documents at the Court, despite having been prohibited from doing so by the United States Bankruptcy Court or United States District Court for the Central District of California, or attorneys that have been suspended or disbarred from practice of law by the California State Bar. Separate sanctions will be imposed for each document that has been filed by a suspended or disbarred attorney.
