Converting documents to (PDF) Format

Processing Instructions (rev 10/28/2014):

The process of converting documents from a word processing program to a PDF is relatively simple and can be accomplished with Adobe Writer and by following the steps listed below:

  1. Select File from the menu bar
  2. Select Print.
  3. From the Printer the drop down menu, change the current printer to Adobe PDF Writer.
  4. Click Print.

NOTE: The file should not actually print; instead a Save As box will appear on your screen.                     

  1. Select the directory and folder, name your file and click Save
  2. The PDF conversion is now complete. The PDF document is stored in the folder you have designated and can now be filed via CM/ECF.
