Re: Court to Operate Normally for Approximately 10 Days in the Event of a Government Shutdown

News Category:
Public Notice

In the event that Congress does not pass an appropriations bill to continue funding the federal government beyond April 8, 2011, the federal Judiciary will use other funds, such as fees collected, to enable federal courts to remain open for 10 days through approximately April 22, 2011. During that time, scheduled hearings will be held as usual, filings will be accepted, hours of operation, availability of systems, and other services will continue as normal.

In the event circumstances change, the Court will provide notice of any changes to scheduled hearings and service levels.
