Bankruptcy Mediation Program Request for Applications for the Panel of Mediators
Applications are now being accepted for appointment to the panel of mediators for the Bankruptcy Mediation Program of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. Qualified professionals willing to serve on a pro bono basis, for any or all of the Court's five divisions, are invited to apply. Panel membership is not restricted to attorneys. Current panel members do not need to submit an application.
A mediation training program of approximately thirty (30) hours will be required of the applicants chosen for the panel, unless attendance is excused by the judges for good cause shown. MCLE credit will be available upon completion of the training program.
Applications must be received by May 15, 2012 in order to be considered. Mail the original and three (3) copies of the completed application to:

The application for panel membership and Third Amended General Order No. 95-01, which governs the Mediation Program, are available on the Court’s website at www.cacb.uscourts.gov (select Information, then under Court Sponsored Programs select Mediation Program). The application requires certification that the applicant has read Third Amended General Order No. 95-01.
