Reassignment of Judge Alan M. Ahart's Bankruptcy Cases to Judge Martin R. Barash Effective April 7, 2015

Effective Tuesday, April 7, 2015, pending bankruptcy cases and related adversary proceedings, previously assigned to Judge Alan M. Ahart, will be reassigned to Judge Martin R. Barash. 

Hearings on Judge Barash’s Matters
To schedule matters on Judge Barash’s calendar, please refer to his self-calendaring instructions on the Court’s website at or call (818) 587-2853.  Hearings for Judge Barash must be noticed at 21041 Burbank Boulevard, Courtroom 303, Woodland Hills, CA 91367.

Filing Documents/Judge’s Copies
Documents filed on bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings assigned to Judge Barash must be filed either electronically, or for non-registered ECF users, at the Intake Section of the San Fernando Valley Division.  Printed judge’s copies of documents filed or lodged in Judge Barash’s bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings must be delivered to Judge Barash’s bin outside of the entry to the Intake Section on the first floor of the San Fernando Valley Division.

Judge’s Initials
The initials following the bankruptcy case and adversary proceeding numbers of reassigned bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings shall be changed from “AA” to “MB.”

Section 1, and Appendices A, F, and H, were updated to include contact and other information for Judge Barash.
