Riverside Division Bankruptcy Cases and Adversary Proceedings (1) Reassigned to Judge Deborah J. Saltzman; and (2) Transferred to the Los Angeles Division

Effective March 29, 2010, all pending bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings in the Riverside Division assigned to Judge Richard M. Neiter will be reassigned to Judge Deborah J. Saltzman, except for the bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings listed on Exhibit A (attached).  The judge initials following these reassigned case or adversary proceeding numbers shall be changed to “DS.”

The Riverside Division bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings listed on Exhibit A will be retained by Judge Neiter but will be transferred to the Los Angeles Division and assigned new Los Angeles Division numbers. All parties in these matters will be sent notices with the new Los Angeles Division numbers. Continue to file papers under the Riverside Division case or adversary proceeding number until you receive notice otherwise.

Hearings for cases assigned to Judge Saltzman will be heard at the Riverside Division, Courtroom 302. Video conferencing for these hearings will not be available from the Los Angeles Division. If you have a hearing scheduled in a Riverside Division case that has been transferred from Judge Neiter to Judge Saltzman, unless you receive notice to the contrary, the date, time and place of your hearing will remain unchanged. If you have a hearing scheduled in a Riverside Division case that has been retained by Judge Neiter, unless you receive notice to the contrary, the date and time of your hearing will remain unchanged, but the location of the hearing will be changed from Courtroom 302 in the Riverside Division to Courtroom 1645 in the Los Angeles Division.

Also effective March 29, 2010, all pending chapter 13 bankruptcy cases and related adversary proceedings in the Riverside Division assigned to Judge Thomas B. Donovan are reassigned to Judge Deborah J. Saltzman. The judge initials following these reassigned cases shall be changed to “DS.”
