Judge Thompson's Bankruptcy Cases and Related Adversary Proceedings Reassigned to Judge Victoria S. Kaufman Effective January 7, 2011
Effective January 7, 2011, all pending bankruptcy cases and related adversary proceedings in the San Fernando Valley Division assigned to Judge Kathleen Thompson are reassigned to Judge Victoria S. Kaufman. On that date, Judge Kaufman will occupy San Fernando Valley Division chambers 305/courtroom 301.
The initials following the bankruptcy case and/or adversary proceeding numbers of the reassigned cases shall be changed from “KT” to “VK.”
The Los Angeles Division bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings listed on Exhibit A (attached) will remain assigned to Judge Victoria S. Kaufman and will be assigned San Fernando Valley case numbers. The hearings for these cases must be scheduled in courtroom 301 of the San Fernando Valley Division. Papers for these cases must be filed either electronically or, for non-registered ECF users, at the San Fernando Valley Division. All judge’s copies must be served to Judge Victoria S. Kaufman at her San Fernando Valley Division chambers 305.
