- In order to file documents electronically for the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California, attorneys, limited creditor filers, and other professionals must register online and either provide proof of proficiency in ECF or complete an online training course.
- Participants may register online at: www.cacb.uscourts.gov > CM/ECF > CM/ECF Training and Registration > Online Registration Form.
- Participants who have never used the system are required to participate on online training by viewing and completing the Electronic Learning Modules (ELM) and accompanying quizzes. The Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California will also issue a Certificate of Completion to all participants who successfully complete the training.
- Participants who have attended training in the CM/ECF system and are registered in another Bankruptcy Court district (except for the Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of California) may be allowed to register with this court without further training.
Additionally, limited use passwords may or may not be issued to CM/ECF participants without formal training, depending on their intended use of the CM/ECF system. Persons wishing to register as limited users must follow the same registration procedures.
